Privacy & Terms
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of psychological practice. Everything discussed in therapy is treated with respect, privacy, and professional discretion. I am bound by professional ethics and CDA regulations to protect your privacy. Information shared in sessions is not disclosed to anyone without your explicit written consent.
There are rare exceptions where confidentiality may be breached:
- •If there is serious risk of harm to yourself or others
- •If there is suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult
- •If required by law or court order
Privacy & Data Protection
Brief professional notes are maintained to support the continuity and quality of our work together. These records are stored securely and in accordance with applicable professional standards.
Your personal information is collected and stored solely for the purpose of providing psychological services. It is held securely and is not shared with third parties except where required by law or with your explicit written consent.
Communication
Email and messaging are intended primarily for scheduling and administrative matters. To protect your privacy and ensure appropriate support, sensitive therapeutic topics are best discussed during sessions.
Appointment & Cancellation Policy
Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement. Please arrive on time for in-person sessions or be ready to connect at the scheduled time for online sessions. Late arrivals will not extend the session time.
24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full, except in cases of genuine emergency or illness.
Fees, payments, and receipts are managed directly through My Conscious Mind (MCM). Please contact the center for current fees, payment methods, and insurance-related documentation.
Professional Relationship & Boundaries
To protect the therapeutic relationship and maintain a safe professional environment, communication is limited to appropriate professional channels.
You may encounter my educational content through social media, articles, videos, or other public platforms. These resources are intended to share psychological knowledge and should not be considered a substitute for individual therapy. While I am pleased to share psychological insights publicly, therapeutic work takes place within a dedicated professional setting.
I do not engage in therapy, clinical discussions, or therapeutic support through social media or public platforms. I also avoid dual relationships and social interactions outside of the therapeutic context.
Maintaining clear professional boundaries helps ensure that our work together remains confidential, focused, ethical, and in your best interest.
Crisis & Emergency Support
Therapy is not designed to provide immediate crisis support between sessions.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, are at risk of harming yourself or others, or require urgent assistance, please contact emergency services, attend your nearest hospital emergency department, or seek immediate support from an appropriate crisis service.
If you are unsure whether your situation requires urgent help, it is always safer to seek immediate professional assistance.
Scope of Services
Psychological support is structured to help individuals develop deeper self-understanding, build adaptive capacity, and work toward meaningful personal change. While therapy can be highly effective, outcomes are individual — no specific results can be promised or guaranteed.
Therapy is a collaborative process. Progress depends on openness, consistency, and mutual engagement. The work functions best when both client and practitioner are committed to honest investigation.
Ending Therapy
Therapy is a voluntary process, and you are free to end it at any time.
If you choose to conclude our work together, I encourage a final session to reflect on your progress, consolidate key insights, and discuss any next steps that may support your continued growth and well-being.
There may also be times when therapy goals have been achieved, another approach may be more beneficial, or a different specialist may be better suited to your needs. In such cases, we will discuss this openly and, where appropriate, explore suitable referrals or alternative support options.
My goal is to ensure that any transition is handled thoughtfully, respectfully, and in your best interest.
Professional Qualifications
I am a psychologist licensed by the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai and committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
My work combines evidence-based psychological approaches with practical understanding of the realities of modern professional life — including relationships, identity, performance demands, anxiety, and the particular pressures carried by high-achieving individuals.
Meaningful psychological work does not stop at self-understanding. It creates structural change in how a person relates to themselves, to others, and to the complexity they navigate.
